Overview: The Prime Pantheon

 

 (this is a work-in-progress, so check back from time to time)

 

The Prime Pantheon began when the world of Avenlast was created. The first gods were created by the Prime Creator, a being of pure energy and light. The Prime Creator created the gods to help him govern the world and to care for its inhabitants.

The gods were originally benevolent beings who loved and cared for all of Avenlast. However, over time, some of the gods became corrupted by power and greed. These corrupted gods became known as the Dark Gods. The Dark Gods waged a war against the other gods, and the world of Avenlast was plunged into darkness and chaos.

The forces of good eventually triumphed over the forces of evil, and the Dark Gods were banished from Avenlast. The remaining gods rebuilt the world and restored peace and order to the land. But In recent decades, a trend of wickedness has surfaced among some of the remaining Gods.

Olothian of the Gift - appears as a beautiful and andoginous male elf usually in a fine velvet suit and long blonde hair. Known for his boons to elves who practice racial purity. (Lawful Neutral)

 

 

 

Bemporin the Learned - Bem, as he is known by his followers, is seen as a highly intelligent gnome inventor. Believes in the superiority of gnomes. Lawful Evil)

 

 

 

The Strong Arm of Dhog - seen as either a bare-knuckle figther or a laborer (mechanic usually), Dhog is a good natured orc that is a tough as he is hard-working (Neutral Good)

 

 

 

The All-Saint - usually taking the form of a human maiden in white, Lorena, as some still call her, is fond of granting minor boons to those who act in her service. (Lawful Good)

 

 

 

Bonder-In-Blood (Morag) - always taking the form of a gaunt human man with gold skin, those with a dark nature and violent urges usually petition Morag for boons. (Neutral Evil)

 

 

 

Silent-Goes-The-Night - more off a lesser deity, Caladros, always appears as a roguish devlin in fine clothes. Also a bit of a trickster, so other species besides devlins have been known to pray to him. (Neutral)

 

 

 

The Mother of all Magicks - Islyel, usually in the form of a raven haired half-elf dressing in fine blacks, is the goddess of magic, as well as technomancy. She can be mercurial, but is always friendly and kind. (Chaotic Good)
