Overview: The Veil Society

  

With so many negatives affecting the city over the centuries, from demons cults to deranged dragons, it no wonder that an entity like The Veil Society has grown to stem the tide of destruction. With cells all over the city, The Society fends off the ever-present abyss that would swallow Æther City if left to its own devices. From scholars of ancient magicks to frontline "soldiers" who are the ones who get their actual hands dirty, The Veil Society work hard at keeping the city safe. As it currently stands, The Society is a secret to most and vets its members with a strict measuring stick.  Only a small, gifted few are asked to join, and remain the unsung heroes of the free city.
