A holdover from an earlier time in the city's history, the airships of Æther City still perform a vital service in a city that maintains a numerous amount of skyscrapers. Besides adding even more flavor to an already robust metropolis, they serve as a reminder of where the city came from.

Their passengers, usually the wealthy, are trafficked from building to building with a relaxed easy not seen on the bustling streets below. And to be an airship captain is still a sought after job that commands respect and admiration.
